Improvements to the changing area at Wildernesse Sports Centre
As I am sure you know we continue to discuss with KCC the future of the sports facilites at Wildernesse in light of the plans for an Academy school on the site. In the meantime we have received the following information from Sencio about some work being carried out to the changing rooms to improve matters in the short term.
1. REPAIR / REPLACE SHOWERS & PARTS
1.1 Male shower areas:
a) Male - provide and fit new water mixer (Start: 30/11, Finish: 30/11)
b) Clean tiling and re-grout walls (Start: 30/11, Finish: 2/12)

2.1 Male changing area (ground floor):
a) All wooden benches, toilet cubicles, basin surrounds & wc cisterns removed to provided skip (Start: 30/11, Finish: 1/12)
b) Remove lockers and store on sites (Start: 30/11, Finish: 1/12)
c) Urinals, cisterns and wc pans (Start: 30/11, Finish: 1/12)

5.1 Male changing areas replace cubicles and sanitary ware (basins & cisterns) (Start: 21/12, Finish: 22/12)

6.1 Replace benches to male areas and deep clean worksite area (Start: 21/12, Finish: 22/12)
It is good to see that some work is being undertaken, even with the future as uncertain as it is, and we continue to request more be done to improve facilities. When we have further news we will let you know.
